I think you'll personally like the one I'm working on at the moment. I'd hope so, anyway.

i dig thecharater design for this guy; you can easily imagin him froliking through your hard-drive and what not. i always imagined them as far more malicious (i guess that's partly down to the fact that i pretty much grew up on the films of the same name...oh, i'm suddenly overwhelmed by a sense of nostagia) but you get a feel that this guy could swing either way (something that you do mention) what with the fact that this guy seems so darn cheerful, what with the pose and big o'l grin.

there's something vaugly 'mad max' about him aswell, what with the patched trousers, multitude of belts and googles. all of these are neat touches that help charaterize him without being ott or flamboyant. the inclusion of the wired plate in his head also helps with this, while the screw driver really divres home the sense that tecnology is his area of expertise.the inclusion of the wires and... uh, those green things with the crazy patterns on them (lo, my knowlage of electronics!) also gives a real sense of scale.
